NOVEMBER

Well, November was a very crazy month for us! Logan and I were on both on competitive volleyball teams. That was a lot of fun. In the end tournament both of our teams lost in the first round. We then traveled up to Bozeman, MT to meet up with my parents and my brother Brett and his sons Brock and Evan. All seven of us then headed toward Dodgeville, Wisconsin!! It was a long 24 hours! We had fun. Watched a few movies and slept. 24 hours later we made it to my sister Jen's house. We went for Thanksgiving and my niece Ellie's baptism. On Monday by my sister Steph and her family came up and we all went to the Wisconsin Dells. Which is a big resort with water parks in hotels. It was really fun we stayed there for two days. Logan and I went downtown and looked at everything. It was really cool, only pretty much everything was closed for the season. I think it would be cool to go back in the summer when everything is open. We went back to Dodgeville and started prepping for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving was delicious!! Jen made this jello cheesecake stuff which was awesome!! :) I enjoyed the pie and the stuffing! :) That evening we ventured out to Walmart for some pre Black Friday shopping. It was Logan's first time and he was excited... well not really, but we did get some awesome deals on movies!! :) On Black Friday, we decided to go to Taliesin. Taliesin is Frank Lloyd Wright estate. It was really cool. Logan really enjoyed it. It was really cold, the wind was howling!
This is the side of the main house.

This was his master bedroom.

The front view of the house.

This was on the side of the school on the estate.

Then on Saturday, it was Ellie's baptism. It was really nice. Afterwords, we all went out to some trees and took some family photos. I haven't seen them yet, so hopefully they look good! Then we hit the road again!

Five days later we packed our bags again and flew out to San Francisco! Tanner (Logan's cousin), Shay (Logan's sister), Logan and I went for the weekend! I think it was on of my best weekends! The weekend forecast was rain and flash floods. Saturday afternoon it cleared up and we went out to Alcatraz Island. It was really cool! It was crazy to see that some of the buildings are gone and there is only a foundation. The cells were really cool, there was an audio tour that we took and it was by some of the people who were there like guards and inmates.

We then went to the Aquarium on the Bay. It was the coolest aquarium that I've been to. There was three floors and the bottom floor was the best! It was what a diver might see underneath the sea! That was my favorite part!! We also touched a baby manta ray and a star fish! :) There also was a really cool octopus.

We went to Church and hung out at the Exploratorium. It was really interesting! There was so many things to see and do. We then tried to get downtown to go to The Lion King, but in the process got very lost! We tried to take the buses but none came by us. Then we wanted to take the trolley so we started up this hill and missed the trolley so we then decided to take a taxi. Just our luck, no taxis came when we wanted them! We ended up on Lombard Street. So we walked down it, but we where so frustrated about being lost and late that we didn't really enjoy it. We ended up downtown just in time for the second act. I really enjoyed it and so did everyone else. After we went to The Cheesecake Factory that was at the top of Macy's. We ate outside. It was cold, but as Tanner said, "We are paying for an experience." We rode the trolley around for the rest of the night.

Monday morning we hurried out to the Golden Gate Bridge Park. We didn't stay for very long but we had a good time. We walked out on the bridge. Logan, Shay, and I walked out to the first tower while Tanner decided that he wanted to run across the entire thing. It was windy and fun. Out in the water we saw something surfacing. Logan said it was dolphins. Some came really close to the bridge and we saw four! :) It was really awesome! Then we headed to Oakland to fly back to Idaho Falls.

I will get some photos posted later!
It is now December and we are trying to get ready for Christmas!! I am so excited, we are getting more ornaments and going to get a Christmas tree on Saturday!! :)
