The New Year!

Well, it's already the 12th of January! I can't believe that we have already had 2 weeks in the year of 2013! It has really great so far! We had some really awesome experiences in 2012! For starters Logan and I made it through an entire year of marriage! We were talking about it and we feel that it wasn't that hard. The first few months were an adjustment living with a boy, but after that I don't feel that it was hard to keep living with him. Logan also brought it to my attention that it was our Black year, meaning that it was our first full calendar year of being together.
We went to Canada, Wisconsin, and California in 2012! Those were really fun trips and I would love to go back! I spent my first Christmas with the Rindlisbachers here in Rexburg! That was a good experience, ate Trix with them and talked to Colton. A few days later we celebrated Logan's 24th birthday with his family at Kelly Canyon skiing! It was fun. I had never been before so it was a little frustrating but by the end of the day I can say that I wouldn't mind doing it again.
The last Sunday in December, was our last Sunday with our first Sunbeam class! They sure did take us on a ride! We just had cookies and explained to them that the next Sunday they would have new teachers! We made them graduation caps and gave them a note that was rolled up like a diploma. It was a bitter sweet day. After Church we drove down to Soda Springs to visit Logan's grandparents. We only stayed one night because Logan had to work  on New Year's Eve and I had to work New Year's morning.
Because I had to work the next morning our celebration was going to bed!! I know we are exciting! I worked for a few hours and the celebrated by going to Buffalo Wild Wings and watching the Georgia vs. Nebraska bowl. That was a good game. We rooted for Georgia! Later that night we played volleyball with some friends. A good start to a new year!
To really kick off the New Year, Logan decided for his birthday that he wanted to go to Provo and watch the BYU Men's volleyball open with Hawaii. It was fun to watch and hang out and relax one more time before the semester started. We rode the Frontliner into Salt Lake and hung out at the City Creek Mall for a bit and then ran down to the station so we wouldn't miss the train! It reminded us of the time that we ran up the hills of San Francisco when we were late to the play! Only we made it just as the train was pulling up! The weekend was filled with good company, food and entertainment!
While I am writing about the new year and what is going on with Logan and I, I might as well tell about the first week of the semester!
Alright, so the first Sunday of 2013! We had new Sunbeams!! We are going to be busy! The presidency decided that they wanted to keep them all together, so that they can get to know each other better. For us that means 12 new little three year old's! Because of this decision they called another couple to help us out! Thank goodness they all didn't show up because our little classroom was full! We had six with their parent and 5 teachers! It was good, hopefully they will get to know us better so that they don't cry the whole time during sharing and singing time.
Monday was the first day of school for Logan and I! It is crazy to go back to school after having such long time off! I am busy on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays while Logan is busy on Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The days that we aren't busy are dedicated to doing homework and working! It is really going to be crazy semester! I think that Logan is most excited for his photography class and his graphic design class! I am excited for all of mine. I say that because I haven't really picked one that might be my favorite. So far they are all good and give a good amount of homework!
So far, 2013 has been good to Logan and I and we look forward to some new adventures!
